Extending eduroam enables a fast, agile and secure way to allow authenticated eduroam users to connect and access learning resources in remote locations such as at home, out in the field, or out and about in sports facilities, hospitals or libraries.
It is a Jisc-managed cloud service, supported by world-leading technology partners Cradlepoint (part of Ericsson) and Sky Business, which extends our trusted eduroam service through 4G and 5G cellular technology using mobile data backhaul.
